Backpacks for Children The Backpack program is designed to insure that 50 children at the Morningside Elementary School have food over the weekends. The program involves a team of church family volunteers to shop, pack and distribute the food items to the school every Thursday. Food consists of nonperishable items i.e. Vienna sausage, ramen noodles, chips, cookies, snack crackers, pudding, fruit cups, applesauce, hot chocolate, oatmeal. Feel free to donate via food items and or financial contribution.

Mom's A ministry that provides groceries for families in the Morningside Community. Grocery bags are distributed monthly

Lay Shepherd Lay Shepherd Ministry-members maintain connection with each church member and sponsors Walk For Disciple throughout the Morningside Community.

Men'sA strong viable group of Christian men who participate in Men’s Bible Class and supportive activities that enhances the functioning of Morningside United Methodist Church.
Annual Men's will be March 22, 2020 9:30am worship service. This year’s theme is: Adversity Energizing Real Men (when the going gets tough, the tough get going). Men’s Fellowship Breakfast Meeting on the 1st Saturday of each month, MUMC Fellowship Hall, 8:00am. Come and fellowship with us. |
